Is my MiniFlex Mic warrantied?
Yes! Every MiniFlex Mic is warrantied to the original owner for one
year from the date of purchase.
Can I adjust the mic position once the MiniFlex is installed in my guitar?Yes! Every guitar has unique internal sound patterns, and the flexible
goosenecks permit every player to find the “sweet spot” for locating
their mics.
Do I need a pre-amp?No! the MiniFlex is a complete system that is designed to plug
directly into a P.A. board or acoustic amp using the XLR adapter
included with the mic. Direct boxes, equalizers, and other
electronic devices can be used with the MiniFlex, but are not
required for great sound quality.
Are there batteries?Yes! Model 1 uses 2 AA batteries. Battery life is 2 years, or
longer (approximately the shelf life of the batteries). The output
jack acts as a switch so that the mic is turned “on” when a plug is
inserted into the jack.
Does installation of the MiniFlex change my guitar?No! Your MiniFlex will only contact the end block of the
guitar, which is not a sound producing component. Installation
by a qualified repairman requires only 15 minutes
Why does a MiniFlex TWINmic sound more natural than a pickup?A mic senses the movement of air with all of it’s
overtones,just as the human ear senses sound. Pickups sense
fundamental frequencies caused by movement of the wood,
saddle, or strings, and cannot record the complex overtones
of an acoustic guitar..
Why use two mics?MiniFlex TWINmics are mechanically phased to control
feedback and improve sound quality when compared with any
single mic system.
