Have you ever tried the MiniFlex in a classical guitar? I’m supposed to play a bit of Spanish, even “flamencoish” style. I might order the Model 2, so I can easily test it in a couple of other guitars, includinga classical. What do you think? And thank you for adding me as a MiniFlex artist! Cheers Martin I read about this new acoustic guitar microphone design (by Ken Donnell), I immediately thought “This is what I´ve been looking for!”. When I read about this new acoustic guitar microphone design (by Ken Donnell), I immediately thought “This is what I´ve been looking for!”. Very, very natural sound and, because of its design, less risk of feedback problems. So far, it seems great! I will try it live as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks for watching!
Cheers, Martin

There´s a whole lotta testing goin on :)
Took out the old beat-up Kasuga, it´s been awhile – recorded three different playing styles – fingerstyle, something flamencoish and classical (well, sort of).

Works really well and sounds very true to my ears. No EQ used. Various amounts of reverb added.
It´s interesting that the percussive “golpe” (flamenco technique) doesn´t seem to get too loud or prominent..

Since this guitar (and most classical guitars) doesn´t have strap buttons, I put a little self-adhesive velcro pad on the back of the guitar and fitted the “service module”, which has the output jack, a volume control and holds the battery.

Cheers
Martin
